Update on My Life

 

 

 

Hello my fellow blog readers, it's been a long time since my last post. It's been what, two years maybe almost 3? I know, I know I have just been busy, or maybe I just abandoned my blog. At the start of this blog, I was a Junior in High School going into my Senior Year. I assumed since I'll be back in school I would post a lot more. Nope, that didn't happen at all. I just forgot all about my poor little blog. I don't think my blog even crossed my mind during that time. I guess I was just focused on making it thru my senior year. Between my last post and now a lot has happened. I graduated high school back in 2015 as a Merit Graduate. I recently turned 20 years old on May 29. I will be starting my Junior Year of College this fall. I think it's kind of funny how I started this blog as a Junior in High School and now I'm updating as a Junior in College. Time does go by quick! I have a few ideas that have been cooking in my brain lately, so stay tuned for what I have in store. Maybe on my next post, I'll probably talk more about me. For now, this is just a slight update!

Initiation Day

It's been awhile since my last blog post. School has been keeping me busy!! A couple days ago was the First Day of the Fall Season and I'm so excited. I been waiting all year to finally wear my sweaters, boots, scarves etc. Today I had Initiation Day for this club I'm a member of at school. The club name is NIKE (like the shoe). NIKE is a all girls club that helps out in the community, it's more like a sorority if you ask me. I'm a second year veteran which means I can dress to impress for the occasion lol, and believe me I did NOT disappoint. Of course ya'll know I had to get a fabulous dress and heels. I spent days searching for a dress then one day I came across the perfect dress on Forever 21 website. I never ordered a dress online before so I was a bit sketchy and nervous, I didn't know if it was gonna arrive in time or most importantly if I could fit it. Thankfully it came a week early and it fit me PERECT!!

Today is the second week of school. Yes, already! School has been going pretty good so far. Don't forget it's only the beginning. I like all my classes and the people in them (some of them) lol. The outfit I wore was pretty much rushed but carefully selected. I had soooo many compliments on my shirt and sandals it was crazy lol. The back of my shirt was crochet but I didn't do a back view of my shirt.

One thing I didn't like about the sandals was the knot on top of it. It was uncomfortable for the top of my foot

First Day of School

So today was my First Day of School. You might not believe it but I'm a SENIOR in High School. Shocking right?! My last first day of High School was actually good. I wish I could relive this day all over again. I been waiting years and years for this very moment and I finally made it. I made some AMAZING friends along the way. I started out as a new kid my Freshman year due to the fact I moved from a different state. I didn't know anybody but myself it was horrible at first. Eventually I adjusted to the new unfamiliar alien faces that surrounded me. This is a bittersweet moment for me and my fellow classmates. I grew to love them and I enjoy being around them. What will we do when it comes May 2015 for us to go our different ways? Stay Tuned....

Due to the sunlight my shirt looks like a bright pink but it's actually the color of my sandals. Thank You Sun!

"Rainy Day"

Sadly there's always a chance that it would rain in the summer time. One day it could be all pretty and sunny then the next day it start's raining out of nowhere. The camping trips, the family picinic, etc: are put on hold till the next day due to the sudden change of weather. That doesn't stop the household errands from getting done right? Just because it's raining or it has rained doesn't mean you have to dress down in hideous clothing, lol. You can still look stylish and well dressed even if it is raining. . .

'Pink & Black..

Two of my most favorite colors that I love to see together. If you know me Pink is my favorite color of all time. I don't about you but I can pair pink with just about anything,especially with denim and black. The outfit I created is fairly basic and simple but it's one of those looks that will never fade.

"Denim and Lace 'aka' Crochet Shorts"

Denim shirts and lace shorts has been quite trendy lately. Everybody's wearing them including celebrities.. I think.. Correct me if I'm wrong lol. I paired a denim shirt and lace shorts with brown accessories and flats. I know it's hot for denim so another way you could wear a denim shirt is unbuttoning the first top three buttons or simply wear it open with a tank or t-shirt. It's many ways to dress up a denim shirt it's whatever that makes you feel comfortable.
